The payment of purchasing paper and plastic bags is repeatedly times reflected in the price of the goods the convenience store is selling. The decreased demand for paper and plastic bags could result in lower prices on items throughout the department store.
Shoppers can also benefit from the reduced amount of paper and plastic bags that enter their household. Every shopping ramble can result in anywhere from five to fifteen plastic bags coming into the consumer’s house. After a while these plastic bags begin to pile up with no real use for them. Through the use of eco friendly bags an user is able to reduce the amount of plastic or paper bags that enter their house as every time they are applying the same bags every shopping excursion.
It might appear to a buyer that supermarkets have an ulterior motive in promoting the use of eco friendly bags. However, it is just as much in the interest of the end user as it is for the market to make the switch to reusable shopping bags. Not solely does it save both end user and business establishment that sells goods money but it also helps reduce the amount of plastic or paper bags a shopper collects after a while. With all the shopper benefits of making the switch to reusable shopping bags it must be hard to resist the urge to make the switch to this environmentally friendly shopping bag.
